This web site
is dedicated to the memory of Pilot Officer E. F. C. Matthews. He served with 600 Sqdn
initially, a short period at Cranwell Instructing then 35, 76 and finally as a
Flight Engineer with 78 Squadron until August 1943 when Halifax JD310 EY-Z was
shot down by a Night fighter over Berlin.
My intention is to update and develop the
website when new information becomes available.
